Andrew Kay is a partner and co-founder of Kay & Warburton. As a result of providing financial and business advisory services exclusively to the Entertainment industry for the last 24 years, Andrew has developed expertise in the specialized tax and reporting requirements of the industry in Canada including federal and provincial tax credits available for Canadian content and non-Canadian content productions, production audits, financial statement reporting and corporate tax planning. In addition, Andrew has consulted and provided due diligence on the feasibility of potential acquisitions, corporate restructurings and mergers. He provides his services to both domestic and foreign producers, federal and provincial agencies, non-profit enterprises, lending institutions, investors and cast and crew. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with honours from York University in 1986 and obtained his Chartered Accountant designation in 1988. Andrew is a frequent participant at film and television financing conferences both in Canada and abroad as well as at information sessions for lending institutions and funding agencies.

Richard Warburton is a founding partner in Kay and Warburton. With over 21 years experience working in the film and television industry, Richard has gained a thorough understanding of its complex tax, accounting and finance issues. Richard has written several papers and spoken frequently about Canadian Federal and Provincial tax credits and corporate and personal tax as it relates to producers, cast and crew in the industry. He also provides his services to several charities and non-profits including Hot Docs, the Feature Film Project and Contact Toronto Photography Festival.
Richard is a graduate of the Business School at the University of Western Ontario. He articled at Deloitte and Touche, obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation in 1990.
